Perplexed Gardners & Rainbows.

On my way home from lunch with a friend I spotted a rainbow. It wasn't particularly vivid or wide across the sky, in fact it was pretty average, but it made me smile and enjoy my walk home a lot more. I haven't seen one for ages!


I took these photos in my front garden when I arrived home. Looking rather conspicuous I hovered around in front of the camera, using the "2 second" self timer (which is not enough seconds)!

But soon I saw a perplexed gardner in the front garden of a house across the street watching me standing around awkwardly infront of a camera and so I hurried inside the house!

  11. Hahah..... I know how you feel! You should invest in a tripod and some good lighting in your room... =P

    Anyways..... I love the plaid and strips... I've been wanting to try that mix of patterns. =D

    Sarah - I really do need a tripod! But my camera is so awful that hardly anywhere has good enough lighting lol. Christmas time = new camera I think!

  19. Oh my goodness aha I can totally relate. I feel so self concious when other people see me taking pictures of myself, or even other people taking pictures of me. I'm trying to do it more in privacy now but still, I feel so.. awkward?


    At least your experience wasn't for waste! You look lovely, I really like the black + white tucked into something grey. Seems so obvious yet I've never thought of it before...

  20. haha. i know how awkward the self timer can sometimes be. even taking photos in public, i just pretend i'm a foreign tourist haha works EVERY time :)

    i like the combination of checkers and stripes :) fabulous, i'm all for mismatched prints (my fav plaid and leopard)

    and me doing my bf's homework was needed, i actually rewrote it, i couldn't believe he was going to hand in this mess of words, how he is in university i'll never understand.
