First Time.

Two of my closest friends from back home came to visit me at uni this weekend. We ate delicious mexican food, shopped (and me being me I shopped far too hard for my bank account to really allow, oops) and had a good dance.

For pretty much the first time ever I wore something the day that I bought it. I usually save the items I buy for weeks (quite often months) before I wear them. I have no idea why I feel that I can't wear something until it's not "new", it is indeed very strange and I know it, so I felt rather proud ripping the tag off this tunic (which was only £13 from New Look!) and putting it on that evening!

    I am the complete opposite! Often found running around town like a maniac trying to find something to wear that night ha.. but that's an awful habit to be in for the sake of my bank balance. Eek! x

  12. Wearing new things is something I have a problem with too. I think I like to make people think that I'm just pulling out something from the back of my wardrobe (and by people, I mean my mom), so they don't know that I am kind of a shopaholic.

  16. that tunic is so fabulous! though I have to say, I differ with you on the whole "save it then wear it" philosophy, I normally like wearing things as soon as I can after buying them!

  19. I do the same thing! Except if i'm buying something for a special occasion and i have to wear it the same day, but some stuff i buy are saved in my closet with their tags on... i don't take them off until i wear it.
    The tunic looks great on you, it's perfect with the pvc leggings.
    Oh and your hair looks as cute as always!

  48. haha i'm the opposite, i find it difficult not to wear my new purchases right away, often wear them out of the shop and get into an awful tizz when i've brought multiple pieces and cant decide which to wear haha.

    the opening was ok, lots of standing around in very uncomfortable shoes though.

  67. ooo i love the whole outfit!! i'm like that with a lot of things, ir i think i looove them but just never get round to wearing them. also especially in charity shops i buy things that are cool but really would look better on others and are totally not my style- i can't pull off anything laid back :s
