In The Air

1. What I wore to accompany my Mam to see her favourite singer since she was 16 (Rod Stewart, haha) in concert this week. He sang & danced for two hours with only a ten minute interval, which considering he is 65 was pretty impressive. [Sequined Blazer - Internacionale, Amber Necklace - Gift, Tank - H&M, Bag - Vintage. ]
2. Topshop clutch, gorgeous colour!
3. Jeffrey Campbell Caymen Leopard Sandals @ Nastygal. I really need some new flat sandals for summer.
4. Christopher Kane cloud dress @ Net-a-poter. So beautiful!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I have to work this afternoon, but after that I have friends coming over to partake in the legendary Eurovision Song Contest drinking game. Sure to be hilarious. =]

In Session

Had lunch & shopped with Charl earlier this week. I almost bought three items (including a lovely denim playsuit) at H&M, but as I was leaving the changing rooms I decided that I need to save my money up for a camera and so very sensibly handed every item back in & scarpered.

I'm pretty glad that I did since I do need a new camera as soon as possible. I lost my decent Canon Powershot 2 & a half months ago, and was using a terrible Fuji Finepix as a replacement but I (shhh) dropped that on the floor after a couple of drinks and so I am well and truely cameraless. I was originally planning to save up and buy something special camera-wise, but not having a camera at all is pretty rubbish, so I think I may just re-buy my lost Powershot. Hmmm.

Charl was kind enough to take these at her apartment, though it didn't take much persuading.. She disappeared inside for ten minutes & then came out with the biggest tripod I have ever seen, haha. Fun!

Beat Down

Still no new laptop of my own, but... am leaning towards a Dell Inspiron 1545. Does anyone own a Dell Inspiron? I need honest reviews about it before I take the plunge and buy it! /Edit: Also thinking about a Sony Vaio if anyone has one?!

Last weekend one of my best friends down in London helped host a charity ball/party in aid of Mind (a mental health charity) so I went down to support her & the cause. It was a really fun night, although champagne + a chocolate fountain + light coloured dress = bad.

I'd like to point out that in the first photo I was dancing & not "beating someone down", ha.
You can't see it too well but I'm loving the nail colour I was wearing; it is Flamingo Pink by Barry M and I think I will probably be wearing it all Summer =]

Also, does anyone watch the Vampire Diaries? What did you think of the finale?? I don't know how I'm going to last until September for the second season (and hopefully more Damon/Elena)!

In none shoe porn related news, not only did my laptop crash but the battery pack has also broke, so it is well and truely in heaven now. Therefore I am on the search for the perfect, reasonably priced laptop at the moment, which is pretty boring. This is why I have been looking at shoes instead tonight; much more fun!

I voted in my first general election today, and I'm glad I used my vote. Quite a few people I spoke to at work today said they weren't going to bother voting, which annoyed me. I hope all you Brits voted today =]!
