[Leather skirt - vintage, Tee - Primark Men's, Scarf - Unknown, Shoes - New Look]
I got some exciting news last week; My boyfriend and I are going to be moving to Canada for a year (or two if we are sucessful in reapplying next year) in July!
We're heading to Vancouver in the second week of the month (still looking for the best deal on flights) on a working holiday visa and we are SO excited. I've lived in the UK all of my life and so to move abroad, even only for a year or so, is going to be an amazing experience.
We love Vancouver; my boyfriend's Dad has lived out there for five years and so he has visited quite a few times & I've accompanied him twice (My post from my last visit in 2010). I am ridiculously excited to live there, but completely stressed about moving my whole life at the same time! And I will definitely keep blogging once I'm over there :)!
So, if any of you lovely people are Vancouverites I would love advice/ info on literally anything to do with the city. Best area for a mid-20s couple to apartment hunt? Favourite shops? Best restaurants? Favourite scenic spot? Any online job hunting websites that you know are useful? Anything at all would be totally appreciated! Oh how exciting!!! I just left my hometown of Vancouver for Toronto but will be heading back in the fall - if I had to suggest a few neighbourhoods to look to live in, I'd say the West End, Gastown and Kitsilano would all be at the top of my list.
