Long Live The Tank & Shorts

Many apologies for the two week (argh!) gap in posting. We finally have the internet in our apartment now, which means that I will have lots more time for blogging, and will able to do so from the comfort of my favourite IKEA chair, rather than crammed in between people at a coffee shop. Hooray!

The weather is still beautiful here, so I've been mainly wearing shorts & tank tops, or summery dresses in order to make the most of the sunshine. I hope the weather lasts a little while loner, though as usual at this time of year I'm starting to look forward to Autumn fashion!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Summer (or Winter, depending on location). I'm heading to the movies soon with the boy to see a screening of Jaws. I haven't seen it since I was a child, so that will be fun!

(Not) Walking In Heels.

I wore the above outfit out for dinner to an Indian restuarant five minutes from our apartment a few days ago, where I had the most amazing curry and garlic naan bread.

 This was the only time since I've arrived that I've worn heels (not that you can tell from the photo), which, considering I bought eight pairs of heels with me, is a bit ridiculous. I guess I just hadn't anticipated how much walking round the city I would do! But I have promised myself that I will wear heels at least once this weekend.

I'm so sad that the Olympics is almost over; it has been so much fun watching all of the events, & I am so proud of the UK for doing so well! I'm excited for the closing ceremony, though... And the Paralympics starts soon too!
